Diplo Internet Governance Community

Stay networked. Get informed. Broadcast your projects.

Dear All,

Today marks the one web day event . An event not only to celebrate  but also to raise awareness of the importance of maintaining the open-networking principles that have made it the success it is.

Interestingly, the Internet  has evolved with the concept of building a very innovative  platform for research activities. As a collaborative tool used  in various forms of communication model for education (e-learning), health (tele-medicine), governments (e-government), business (e-commerce) etc.  Putting together all these e-projects , I must say without a shadow of doubt that the Internet is for everyone to shape both the present and future generation. We all need a commitment to make the Internet more secure by being accessible, available and stable to all users. It is really a global village with an open - networking principle - One network for  All

Best  Regards

Eleanor

The internet has shaped our lives and the way we do things. But as with anything good, the internet comes at a cost to societal values. Let us all help to ensure that, the internet is used for the benefit of all rather than to harm other people.
