Russia is at the eve of a new phase of Internet development. It is among the group of countries which have pushed for the introduction of iDNs at the top level (iDN.iDN) and is part of ICANN Fast Track for iDNs in ccTLDs. Plans are moving forward to introduce a ccTLD for the Russian Federation in cyrillc characters. The panel will include leading Internet experts from Russia which will discuss Internet market developments in Russia and the perspectives of a Cyrillic TLD.
