It was a great experience the last year IGF in Nairobi. I learnt a lot and since that forum, i had interest in IG issues leading to be able to take Diplo IGCBP and what i am currently doing in my country the DRC.

Until now, i am not sure to be atending this forum but i hope i will make it. I need to make some arrangements with my founders for a fellowship. I hope to meet you all there and share physically.

Until then, i wish you good preparations! The visa process is not difficult as i read on the host country's website. I had my visa at the Nairobi airport as well last year.

There seems to be a lot of interesting workshops scheduled (at the same time) during the conference. I'm still trying to complete a list of first and second preferences of workshops to attend.

Thank you Vladimir for the links.

I have always had questions about visa obtainment.

In the link: http://igf2012.com/?mod=content&sub=bottom&id=116&lang=en we have three listings of what you need to be with to get a visa. The first one (with only the Registration Confirmation and Invitation letter) is asking for only two items. But the next two listings are asking for four items; Application form, Coloured photos, Passport and invitation letter. I have gone through the application form but some items seem confusing.

What do we follow?. Should we provide all the things asked for in all the listings?

Thank you!

A new discussion group has been created, dedicated to the 7th IGF: http://www.diplointernetgovernance.org/group/igf-2012

This group is where the Diplo IG community can network before, during, and after the event.
